Located in the heart of the Le Parcours du cerf golf course, the Ambiance Plein-sud project offers luxury homes with a style and design inspired by what is being built in California, the meeting point of the avant-garde in residential architecture, explains Nicolas Metsos, President of Le Groupe Classique. “We offer many types of homes, but the new mansion-style quadruplex condos like the one of our St. Paul phase that was decorated by designer Francine Martineau, are exceptionally attractive for couples who want a home that gives them luxury, comfort, tranquility, nature and great accessibility. To put it simply, this is a dream place where residents can live up to an advanced age, said Mr. Metsos. These condos each have an individual access and a private double garage. Besides being very spacious, our units are equipped with large windows that remove all visual barriers and give the feeling of living with nature.”

For Francine Martineau, who in addition to decorating this model unit with furniture made in Québec, chose all the basic materials during construction, furnishing this home is pure bliss! “The plans for the inside are exceptional and makes my task easy,” she says. Mr. Metsos has an eye for detail; he really takes into consideration the needs of his clients.” With an overall area of 1,535 square feet, this ground floor unit includes an entrance similar to a small courtyard, two bedrooms, a large open area extended by a veranda with windows on three sides, a basement that can be converted into a home theater, not to mention a terrace adjacent to the veranda.
“In this house, everything breathes, everything is full of lightness and elegance. The luminosity is extraordinary and gives a sense of vastness. I call it my Freedom 55,” says our designer. The open area is so spacious that it can accommodate up to thirty people for a reception! The master bedroom includes a suite. In the plan, a space was even planned to eventually install a private elevator should the mobility of the occupants be reduced.
Francine Martineau, who has her certification from the APDIQ, talks about her decoration scheme: “I chose the simplicity and comfort of contemporary furniture, beautiful walnut finishes selected for the variations of tones and rich grain offered by this type of wood. I favoured clear and natural shades, taupe and gray harmonies and color accents to infuse rhythm. In the master bedroom, I was able to fit in a King size bed, something that cannot generally be done for lack of space. I also added an electric leather recliner in the master bedroom’s suite. As to the second bedroom, it was spacious enough to accommodate a Queen size bed! In the living room, I placed a spectacular coral colour accent chair that contrasts with the anthracite colour condo sofa. I put in several areas modern bookshelves and bookcases, even in the space reserved for installing a private elevator. In the dining room, I opted for a rectangular walnut table fitted with a glass top.” In the four-season veranda, three round shaped easy chairs (very low armchairs) and an audio rack also serving as a bookcase encourage conversation and reading. On the adjoining terrace, a beautiful sectional couch, upholstered with a weather-resistant coral and turquoise fabric, completes the decor.
Comfort is the key word here! From construction to the appointment of this exceptional unit, everything has been designed for owners to enjoy a full life in an environment of freedom and beauty.
