The largest event dedicated to new housing in Québec, the Open House Weekends, to be held on March 30 and 31 and April 6 and 7, will offer visitors two weekends loaded with activities and discoveries, in some 70 residential projects.
Under the theme Follow your bliss, here and now, the 2019 Open House Weekend offers a wide range of new home and condo projects to discover that can meet the needs of all categories of buyers. In addition, with the return of the Habitat Design Awards, all visitors are invited to vote for the most beautiful appointed model unit among those proposed by the builders participating in the contest, a great opportunity to stock up on interior design ideas.
“For several months now, we have been working on a very special edition for this spring,” says Jacques Beaulieu, president and founder of the Open House Weekends. “We pioneered the Open House formula for new housing in Québec. Year after year, we have created a range of activities that appeal to buyers and fuel the desirability of new homes.”
Housing Solutions for Everyone
Whether in the city or in the suburbs, new houses or condos with a classic or contemporary style, the Open House Weekends put forth six categories of projects that reflect the diversity of the offer: affordable homes at less than $250,000 (plus taxes); family homes with three or more bedrooms; affordable luxury units for second-time buyers; upscale properties that include new luxury condos and houses; projects for the 55+ as well as projects with apartments for rent. Thus, all households can make their dream come true…
In addition, the strategic partnership with another major player in the housing sector, the Guidehabitation.ca portal, further enhances the program of activities and makes the Open House weekends the most opportune time to become a homeowner.
The Open House Weekends are organized by the firm Jacques Beaulieu Consultant, presented by Guidehabitation.ca, in collaboration with the Association des designers d’intérieur du Québec (APDIQ), the Association des architectes de paysage du Québec, Val-Mar, GE Appliances, duProprio, the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ, and Formes magazine. The public’s choice and the Habitat Design Awards will be announced in October 2019.
