Over the years, the Open House Weekends have become the most important event promoting new housing in Québec and the 23rd edition (March 30, 31 and April 6, 7) will certainly be another great success!

The event will take place in near-perfect conditions for buyers and will offer an unparalleled array of new home styles in more than 70 house and condo projects. Housing projects for first-time buyers, for families, for the 55+, as well as for well-stocked portfolios and luxury enthusiasts, or even new apartments for rent.

For the first time, the public will be invited to discover some 15 projects to be featured in collaboration with the Fonds Immobilier de solidarité FTQ. Among the proposed projects are nine rental building projects that are sure to attract the attention of the 55+. This discovery tour will provide information on many of the most innovative projects in the Greater Montréal area.

In collaboration with the APCHQ—Metropolitan Montréal Region, the Open House Weekends will also invite the public to discover the finalists and winners of the 36th Domus Awards, which recognize professional builders who demonstrate noteworthy qualities as business executives, innovators and developers of quality housing projects.

6th edition for the habitat design awards public’s choice
In addition, as part of the Habitat Design Awards, which recognize best-designed model units and sales offices, the public will be able to vote for their favourite decorated unit among the finalists in the running. In addition to stocking up on decorating ideas, participants will automatically be eligible to win great prizes. (The Habitat Design Awards will be announced next October.)

The intelligent home takes shape!
Technology enthusiasts will be happy to discover the new breakthroughs in the field of intelligent homes by visiting the Ambiance Plein Sud project in Longueuil. The Sonxplus team will be on hand to present the latest innovations in the domain. The frontiers of the possible are being re-defined!

The Open House Weekends are organised by the firm Jacques Beaulieu Consultant and are presented by Guidehabitation.ca, in collaboration with the Association des designers d’intérieur du Québec (APDIQ), the Association des architectes de paysage du Québec, Val-Mar, GE Appliances, duProprio, the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ, and Formes magazine. The public’s choice and the Habitat Design Awards will be announced in October 2019.
